Having started my career in retail management with large companies such as Compass and BP, I felt that I always had a burning desire to put my skills to the test in starting my own company.

I met Wayne Bond through a mutual friend in 2011. We immediately became friends and talked about starting a company together. In 2015 we took the plunge and Cedar Designs was formulated.

I always knew that I was destined to be in construction.

My family background has always been in construction, and I wanted to follow in my grandfathers' footsteps.

I went to college in 2001 to study carpentry and went on to hone my trade-in shopfitting and home construction.

In 2015 I decided to start Cedar Designs with Stewart, and from the moment we started the company we haven't looked back.

We have also created a secondary company specialising in Windows and door systems to compliment the Design and Build business.

The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is the UK’s largest trade association for the construction industry.

The Federation of Master Builders are champions of quality construction work and advocate for continuous improvement in building standards. Before members can join the FMB, they must go through a strict vetting process and independent inspection of their work, to ensure they meet the high standards expected of a Master Builder company. Not all builders pass the test.

The Federation of Master Builders provides a wide range of business support services to help Master Builders to promote, protect and grow their business. They connect clients with professional, local builders they can trust. The Federation of Master Builders' aim is to build better as an industry through collaboration with government and industry partners.
